Wonder if we re-circle the wagons here? I know he would have to sit out a year and we have Harmon coming in, but you can never have enough guards and ball handlers IMO.

Actually, you can. IMO, Harmon is a three to four years guy. Bieniemy has three more years. We’re already in great shape with two proven point guards. Williams and Hill are good ball handlers we should be able to count on for two and four years respectively.
If a can’t-miss scoring wing is available, I could see taking him if we can. But I would rather see our coaches sign a grad transfer big in the mold of a Tashawn Thomas. I like the players coming back and the newcomers we’ve got coming in. My only concerns are the unknowns we can’t be sure of with the newbie post players. That’s my only reason for wanting an insurance policy type grad transfer big.
He will have to sit a year.. That year JB and Harmon both get actual minutes and get better! He won't beat them out for a starting spot the following year.
It would be perfect for Quinerly and OU if Harmon was too good and went pro after year 1. Just don't see that happening.
I don't see any chance Harmon is a 1 or 2 year guy. Facilitator, pass first, good defensive pg's don't typically leave early. The guy MIGHT grow into an elite level scorer, but he certainly isn't anywhere close to that now. IMO.
He just doesn't have the pedigree of a kid that will only be here 1-2 years.
As said above, you can never have too many guards. If Harmon Bienemy and quinerly are all good, you can easily have them on the floor at the same time.
