I am a junkie for numbers. This may be useless to everyone. I was watching the Illinois men's team last night, ( I had ou on my iPad.) and the espn announcer takled about the rule of 165. It's is a combination of fg% 3 pt% and ft%. If the number adds up to 165 or better you are considered a good shooter. I was interested in ou so I calculated them.

Having only 1 as a good shooter based on this worries me. This may be useless to some but i think its interesting.

I knew we were not a good rebounding or defensive team but I didn't realize our offense graded out that bad. I'm sure the poor free throw shooting reflects negatively into those numbers. Interesting stuff!
