Record predictions

I am going to swing optimistic with guard play leading the way, we live and die by the 3 this year.

11-2 OOC, 10-8 in conference. 21-10 with an 8-seed.

Let's get it.

I think teams with any inside presence, give us a hand full. Godwin getting in foul trouble spells trOUble for us.
That being said, I want to have some hope. That also being said, I am not sure how we get to 10 wins in conference...

(shhh, uber realistic prediction? 10-2 (7-11), 17-13, missed tourney)

So, here is my thing with KenPom, love it til my dying day...

We are 40th now, finished 46th last year and missed the tourney. We are bubblin' currently as it stands.

I think we are 40-50 range currently based on my own expectations, I hope those are exceeded.

(Also finished 30th in 2022, oof)

I’m hopeful. 18 wins regular season. 1-2 wins in the conference tourney. I think we finally break through and get back into the tourney. I think our roster is a little better and there will be many opportunities for quality wins.
 
14-15 (5-13 SEC) pending the Battle of Atlantis tourney and postseason play.

It's so early, obviously, but sure, I'm down on this roster/team especially in conference play. I saw a bunch of SEC teams get better while OU didn't make the same jump(s) in talent.

But so many things can happen from today until SEC play - injuries, improvement, etc.
 
I don't see 20 wins unless this team is much better than I'm seeing on paper. We'll start to see how things are tonight, obviously.

TE4T is on the money with an O/U of 17.5 wins. 15-18 wins feels doable, to me.

Hey, I think I am the one who set that O/U!!! :)

The funny part is that losing the first game in the Bahamas would really hurt our season and SOS, but would help us potentially win an extra game since the consolation bracket will be easier. I still go back and forth between 17 and 18 wins. Either way, we will be short of the tourney. We won 20 last year and missed out playing in a slightly better league, and this year's noncon is even weaker.

My bad. Thought it was TE4T.

Yeah, that Providence game is really going to be an interesting barometer. I have them losing but I'm super iffy on it. We'll see how they look pre-Bahamas, I guess. I like the Friars on paper just a little more than OU.

Regardless, and I know I'll be called a doomer, I think we'll witness Moser's last hurrah. I hope to be massively wrong but I don't see an NCAA tourney berth.
