I know this is a basketball board, but I wanted some opinions. ESPN has an article that states an FSU coach actually told a player committed to Florida who wanted to decommit and go to FSU not to decommit but just sign with FSU on signing day. Coach said it was planned for 2 weeks.
This bothers me. I agree we have to hold schools responsible for there offers, not pulling at last minute. But for a player not to tell a school for over 2 weeks that you are not going there. Obviously they had to have some conversation with coach's. There was a quote in the article that yhe FSU coach told the student to say whatever they want to hear to the Florida coaches.
I know this probably goes on more then we know, but for a coach to specifically tell a high school student yo lie, bothers me.
