This is what I'm hearing also. Really sucks Roger was a fan favorite and a glue type guy. He was also one of those kids you never worried about seeing his name in the paper for the wrong reason. That said Ford didn't run him off, I have never heard Ford say anything but good things about Roger.

Apparently this has to do with his father being sick and he is wanting to get closer to home, I expect he ends up at TCU or SMU.

NCAA has been pretty consistent about letting players who move home for personal reasons, such as sick family members, transfer without sitting out (see: Tashard Choice, Jameel Owens)...

Not a big deal... just opens the door for a better player. Roger was too small to be a post, and too slow and unskilled to be a guard.

I don't think he would go to tech. He would lose one year and not be much closer to home. Wish him the best where ever he ends up.
