Although not a starter, I think Rogers play on next years team is huge in terms of how far this team can get.

I’d bet he surprises some people.

He’s not built like a freshman. He has natural big boy size and strength and that helps so much when you’re playing in the painted area.

It’s a forgone conclusion Wague and Rogers will likely get the most minutes at the 5.
They are the only two true 5s on the team.

Although they aren't great players I know I like those 2 better than our 1-2 punch at the 5 most of years I’ve been a fan.

Although Mo is a fouling machine, he’s athletic, he’s not so skilled, but damn he plays hard.
He will fight hard in the paint.
Other teams do not get many easy baskets, dunks, rebounds, or put-backs when he’s in the game.
As a rookie Rogers will have to learn quickly how to fight hard and how not to get dominated in the paint. Especially come conference time.

MW and KR banging down low every day in practice will help expedite KRs development

From day one it’s likely Rogers will get some game deciding minutes because MW will foul out a lot.

If Rogers can hold the post position down and not get dominated the Sooners will win a lot of games because the 1-4 positions are filled with veteran guys who can put points up in a hurry.

If Rogers can give OU just a bit of interior toughness, rebounding, & all around post play, I sure like the Sooners chances next year.

Boomer!

Mo is an enigma bc he really passes well and can make really good decisions with the ball also shoots the FT well.

I am convinced wague will surprise us with his performance next year. Knows he will be counted on and it is his money year. We will see but could see real growth. Haven’t seen enough of rogers to form an opinion. Pretty excited about him though. He sure looks the part.

If rogers isnt ready, we are a little deeper at forward and that will help when we go small (ie. Won’t be as small as this year). Reid, holst and atak have some decent height and length to use once in a while. Plus we will be a little taller on the wing.

Really interested in seeing what some of these kids look like

Moser has his hands full piecing it all together. BUT, he’s got some real talent on the team. I think he’ll be able to do it.
