Roster Next Year

Brown, Pack, & Davis are locked in starters. Reid, Wague, & Jones are options to start. Nwanko & Forsyte will get quality minutes.
I agree on most fronts although I am unsure whether to have higher hopes for Jones or JN. Last summer the word was that JN was one of our best overall players, and Jones was viewed as a 3-and-D guy. I am always skeptical of offseason reports (see: Godwin, Sam), but will be curious to see those two guys. I still think we will be in a world of hurt up front if Wague isn't good enough to claim the starting spot at the 5. We would be very small if he isn't starting.

I will say, with the new merger of the sites, it is nice to have a bit of extra OU coverage to read.

Brody summed up that Kuol Atak has been the offensive MVP so far, put on 16+ lbs, and working better defensively while being called a "flamethrower" bc he can get hot at anytime.

Added sources expect to see a lot of Kai backing up Wague at center this year. Has been steady and Sooners feel good about him in the 2nd slot.

Just read ESPN's final MLB draft rankings. They have Blair at 70. Of note: in the group of players in his tier, the author lists several high school guys he says are known to be tough signs, i.e., guys who are highly likely to go to college. He puts Blair in a separate group of players that are considered 50/50 bets to sign.
