Where are Donica and Bloom? Bloom is listed as 6’ 3”.

Bloom won't be available until the start of next season, Donica is a walk on so I'm not sure she would help the team much...

With the shooting numbers Ana is having Sherri or whoever the coach at OU will be could look at starting Shay, Taylor, Madi, Dee, and Bloom together with Ana and Tatum as the 1st two off the bench. That line would give us height, and allow Madi to play her natural position...

You are a little quick on Ana. She has the lowest FG% this year among the guards. But, she didn't have the opportunity to pad her percentages against the Western Kentucky's, Central Arkansas's, and SMUs of the world like the others did. She came right into the Big Twelve. I think her FT% is maybe second on the team.

Typical of you to always try to make another player look good while tearing another player down, so now and the other kids are patting their stats instead of just admitting that Ana has had two seasons of poor field goal percentage numbers... I still would move her to the bench if favor of Taylor.

Yep, Ana's shooting percentages for the last two years are based on 40 games played 29 starts. For certain those percentages reflect how well Ana shoot the ball. IMHO Ana is not a shooter but can be a scorer when she brings her "A" game which is really a 50/50 proposition at this time. Maybe 60/40.

Now that makes sense. Let's bench our leading scorer and best overall player.

I'm not sure some are watching the games with a clear head. It is no accident it was Ana who made the two fast break layups in the Texas game. All the other guards were standing around watching the game while Ana was running down court, creating the possibility of those passes from Madi. It was almost like they were the only two players we had on the court at times. She is our most active player on the court with the possible exception of Madi. Pellington moves fast, but basically in only one direction - straight into the middle so she can be surrounded by 2 or 3 players a foot (or more) taller than she is. And Ana is moving on both offense and defense, having to try and cover for the slow, slow, slow players she is surrounded by.

It will not surprise me if Ana transfers at year end. She gets fewer minutes than any of the slower, weaker players. Notice that other teams guard Ana tightly while basically ignoring the other slow guards. Have you ever asked yourself why that is? Again, go back and watch the Texas game. They were trying to tightly guard Ana - even to the point of knocking her down at times. And Ana also makes some great passes, creating good shots for others. SC plays Tatum and Murcer almost the entire game - and they produce almost nothing except turnovers. It is interesting though that Murcer is producing better results on the court than Tatum. Please note I am not including Taylor in this. She is not fast, but is a very smart player and when she gets open is obviously a deadly shooter.

In addition, we seem to be forgetting that Ana was injured and unable to play the first semester. This is like her fall games. The others had 10 or so full games to try and develop. You don't step on the court after a semester sitting injured on the bench, and come in playing at the very top of your game. But who else - on our team or the Big-12 - has scored 35 points in a game?

Mac,

In conference play, Taylor is playing 34 minutes a game. More than anyone else on the team. Even in conference play, Ana is 5th on the team in minutes played. Yes she is ahead of Pellington, but we all know SC has kept SP on the bench for interesting reasons. Ana is NOT playing TOO MUCH for goodness sakes.

Which statement was incorrect? Did Ana play against Western Kentucky, Central Arkansas, SMU, Northwestern Louisiana--our weakest competitors?

Who did I run down? I mentioned no names.

Good think that OU played those 4 teams, otherwise, OU would be stuck at 1-15.

As for Ana, she played 20 minutes in the opener vs. W. Kentucky.

Not talking bad about any of the ladies but not much difference between any of them.
Got a feeling one or both those ladies will be gone anyway..Then we blame them for not being team players or some other issue.

I wouldn't count Ana out. You play with players who are playing well, then you play better. I am not saying anything with the intent of dissing anyone or anyone's opinion...with that said 1st, I do not think we know how any of the players coming in will do once they are here, we don't know who will actually return nor who will actually come based on a commitment. Finally, I don't post often because I do not want to get caught up in the competitiveness of posting nor in the negativity....I recognize that I can do and have done both. Thus, finally, the times I have had a negative comment regarding Sherri, it has most often been about her lack of development of players. So unless "something " changes I am afraid next year's team will be a disappointment. I will follow a team, even if they don't place well in conference or make it to the NCAA tourney, but really do not enjoy watching a team make the same mistakes year after year. I believe that is the problem for Sherri, not that this year's team has had terrible results. Understand many see it differently, just how I see it. And I have no inside knowledge of anything related to the team.

Agreed 100%
Don't think next season will be much different. Maybe more of a post prescence, although Bloom looks more like a forward to me. I say we win around 12 games next season, unless we bring in a couple more talented, productive players, which I doubt we will...
