Rotation

It looks like Coale may be settling on a 9 player rotation. Besides the 5 starters, Kornet, Treece, Edwards, and L. Williams look to be the other 4. ViVi could play some, but it looks like slim pickens for Manning, Wyatt, Kellogg, and Ritchie. Anyone else see it this way?

That seems to be the rut that Sherri puts herself in, or her comfort level. She still has some good kids that have and will help during the season. They did not play tonight. We shall see I guess.

I agree. I sure believe Wyatt could be a lot of help this season.

I think the reason Treece is getting minutes is because of how hard she plays. She puts out the effort on both ends of the court and any coach is going to love that!

ViVi hasn't played basketball very long and she hasn't learned what it takes to play hard every play. If she does, she will squeeze out some more minutes for herself. I'm not bashing ViVi but most coaches say that freshmen usually don't know how to play hard all the time. Players THINK they are playing hard but they aren't. I suspect that is where ViVi is right now.

I don't think anything is 100% set in stone. If Treece goes in and doesn't do much or if Kay Kay picks up 2 fouls in the 1st half we could see ViVi get a few minutes. Also if Kornet has another O for effort off the bench we could see Wyatt pick up some minutes, Wyatt is our best 3 point shooter, but we havent needed her because Carter has been on fire from behind the arc...

The problem with not playing a shooter on a regular basis is, you can't expect to put them into every 3rd game for a few minutes and have them shoot lights out. That's not likely to happen.
