I wonder if he would entertain transfering. Seems as if he has chemistry problems with Fortson. Wonder how the coaching situtation at arkie is?

Funny that you mention that. I have very good friend who went to Arkansas who is close to Rotnei, and he almost transferred after last season. So it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

It would be nice to have a 3 point bombing midget of our own. Its not like we didn't have a lot of open three's this year. We just missed most of them. I'd like to see us run a few screens around the free throw line for guys like pledger and cade early in games to get them feeling good.

Thats true. In the 4 years that Capel has been here, we have never had a shortage of open three's. In 2006-2007 Micheal Neal missed a ton of them. Lord knows Godbold missed a bunch, and so did AJ. Omar Leary and Cade Davis missed a ton of them in 2007-2008. I wouldn't say we missed as many wide open ones as the previous three years, but Pledger, Warren, Cade and Crock all had their moments.

That being said, I don't know if Clarke would have helped this team at all or even next years team because he's not a great defender and he's another guy that wants to take a bunch of shots and seems to me to be a bit of a me-first type of guy which is probably part of the reason that he didn't get along with Warren and now doesn't get along with Fortson.

But who knows. He would have to sit out a year, so by the time he got here we might need shooters/guards (not really our weakness now) and he Clarke would be 21 and probably more mature, so it might work out.

After all we've "heard" about WW's attitude, it's hard for me to believe another player is at fault if he can't get along with WW. Now that's if all that we hear about WW is true. I admit, I don't know because I only know what I've read here about him.

what have we "heard" about WW? anything specific or just what is spouted on message boards?

If he goes anywhere, it will be to ORU or Tulsa.

And yes, his family does not like the other players at Arkansas, namely Fortson and Washington.

Clarke's goal is to score points, not sure he fits in with what we want here.

Kid can shoot though.

Omar shot .375 from 3 point range that year. That is pretty good. That is the equivalent of 56.25% from a post player (two point shot).

Many people didn't know about this but this was going around the coaching cirlces in Tulsa.

Rotnei's uncle was telling everyone that he wasn't getting as many shots as Pelphrey promised them in recruiting.

Man...really want this guy now.

This. Pelphrey promised them the offense would run through Rotnei, and it has not. He was thinking of transferring as early as Christmas Break of his freshman year, and he was going to go to TU.

If Clarke transferred anywhere...He would probably transfer to OSU. He fits perfect into Ford's offense. Him and Page can shoot it every time down the floor. Its not like they use their post players.

clarke's goal would fit along side our other guys who have that same goal(TMG, Pledger, Gallon, Fitz, Warren, etc). It would be a goal oriented group.
