The rumor on the Rebkell Junkie Board is that LSU has offered Kim Mulkey their head coaching job. LSU's coach quit or was encouraged to quit last week.

LSU was becoming a real power under Sue Gunter in late 90s and early 2000s than she got sick and passed away and than their young up and coming coach Pokey Chatman was fired due to sexual misconduct with a player they made 5 straight Final 4s but have not won a tournament game since 2015, but the job has plenty of potential to succeed, but it would be hard to leave Baylor unless she wants a new challenge.

With Mulkey working for a private university her salary is only speculation but Wikipedia estimates $2.27 million per year. But it is Wikipedia. Personally I think that is probably relatively close to what they pay her knowing that Sherri's $1.2 mil was projected to be top 5 in the country and UConn is paying Geno $2.6 mil.
