Heard anything lately about where OU stands with him? His dad (Joey) was a tight end here. Love his game.

Even though the question wasn't addressed to me, the issue with Mickey is that he's a Jazzy Hartwell (AAU) kid. There are usually strings attached with Hartwell. Kansas in the past has been a school willing to pull those strings. Sometimes kids break from that and make up their own mind. Hopefully Mickey has this mentality.

I am not as tuned into the AAU scene has DFW is, but from what I have heard there is very little chance he comes to OU.

DFW, you are right! Those sentiments are accurate. I sent Sam a private message the other day about the AAU scene down here this summer. Jazzy has really shaken things up again this season, like he did last summer, scooping up another high profile player from a rival team.

Jordan doesn't seem to be leaning any certain way. There are two factors that will figure greatly in his decision though. He'll be adamant about playing a wing in college, and his affiliation with Urban and Grace Prep will almost certainly influence his decision.

I'd say Texas A&M right now (if he stays in the Big 12, but staying in the Big 12 is not a given). This summer, he'll be one of the hottest and most watched kids in the country because of his high ceiling. I'll predict he'll rise into the top 30 before the summer is out.

Whats up with these OU legacies not helping their alma mater get their kids?

I understand Harvey Grant since he was only here 2 years and isn't from Oklahoma, but Mickey is an OKC kid (Millwood).

Probably has something to do with 1.) us being terrible and 2.) wanting the best for your kid. Often what was best for you may not be best for your kin. Furthermore, Mickey's Dad played for a powerhouse football school, shouldn't he want his son to play for a powerhouse basketball school?

We landed Skeeter's son. See where that got us? lol

KU doesn't have as much money to give the AAU guys since the ticket scandel.

DFW, any insight on Keith Frazier? I watched him play last night and he was really good. I was surprised how good his shot is and his range was NBA+.
