Scottie Reynolds

I love Crock to death but his game isn't on par with Tony Allen for the NBA.
He's a lot less athletic and physical.

To compare Crocker to Tony Allen is laughable. Tony Allen was a big 12 POY and a first round draft pick. If a guy like Marcus Dove can't make the league, playing the roll of a lock down defender then Crocker for sure won't. He will join players like Obi playing in Europe and making a nice living. There is definitely no shame in that.

I love Crock as well and he isnt anywhere near the same level as Allen...

Like propoke said, he will make a good living overseas...if he chooses to do so...

I would take Crocker over Dove though, but i could see those that would choose Dove...pretty close

Tony Allen is so athletic. You can't compare the two. Also Crocker never really improved a lot over the first year.

No one has ever heard of Royal Ivey or Melvin Sanders? And plus my orignal statement was there is more demand for a roll that Crock can provide than one of Collins or Reynolds. Never said he would be in the league.

?

He improved quite a bit...just because he didnt turn into a 20 a game scorer doesnt mean he didnt improve...

Word is Dove couldn't make the NBA because every team was too embarrassed to feature a player who made his idiotic self-congratulatory hand gesture every time he scored...

Sherron is way better than Jacque (IMO). Jacque did play several years in the NBA, but I never thought he was all that impressive.

Jacque Vaughn stuck in the league for 12 years because he's an absolute stud of a human being. Great team guy, great chemistry guy and a guy that can run a team and be a leader on and off the court.
I've always said since the day he graduated he'd make a HELLUVA coach. If I was a college I'd be offering him an assistants job. He'd be a stud recruiter because the guy is as humble and well spoken an individual as you'd find. Combine that with his NBA pedigree and he'd be a homerun in a recruits home.

We need more Jacque Vaughns and Hollis Prices in the game of basketball.

:facepalm

What former KU basketball player isn't an absolute stud of a human being? KU basketball produces only the finest of young men.
