Scrimmage

The kids I was impressed with, Gabbi looked refreshed and played with confidence. T'ona may have been the most improved of all the group, driving and shooting well. Chelsi is going to be a good one. Takes the ball to the rim with authority and has a strong body and uses it well. Maddie played with swagger but I thought passed up good shots by passing the ball too much. McKenna and Vivi looked good in post situations. Those are the players that stood out to me.

I was happy that the girls played the whole scrimmage. The boys that help out in practice were no where to be seen. Morgan Rich did not scrimmage.

That is a good question. She was on the floor a lot, but you didn't notice her, for what ever reason. The kids I mentioned above were very active. Derica shot the ball well. Just from my observation, there wasn't a lot of "good" defense played during the scrimmage. It started at 6:00 sharp and was over at 7:20. You kind of got the feeling they needed to be some where else and not playing basketball. Again just my feeling and observation.

Maybe S.C. needed to be at some fundraising benefit?
