Per lusk. This seems way too high overall. I doubt that many teams are dropping 10 million for basketball.

Here’s the full rankings of SEC spending this past season, according to sources:

– Kentucky: ~ 20 million

– Vandy: 10 million +

– Florida: 10 million +

– Texas A&M: 10 million +

– Arkansas: 10 million +

– Missouri: 10 million +

– Tennessee: 10 million +

– Auburn: 10 million +

– Texas: 10 million +

– Georgia: 8-10 million

– LSU: 8-10 million

– Mississippi State: 8-10 million

– Alabama: 8-10 million

– Ole Miss: 8-10 million

– Oklahoma: 6.5 million

– South Carolina: 5.5 million

if that's true....that's a heck of a lot of money being spent and only 1 team in the top 10 and the next highest ranked are fringe top 20.

Maybe true, maybe embellished? Since Lusk is with On3 now, I'm guessing his "sources" are the other On3 beat writers for those respective teams. Either way, there are systemic issues with the program that a head coaching change alone will not fix. Hopefully the new AD gives a crap about men's basketball.

Possible everyone else is exaggerating to boost their prospects for future players while our dork AD wants to play it completely straight and report pasta violations
