EMAW is one of the most ridiculous things I've seen get started for absolutely no reason. Along the lines of how Colorado's rivalry in football with Nebraska got started.

Ottawa is close to Kansas City, so Norman is a 4.5 hour drive. Maybe a half hour to Lawrence, 1.5 hours to Manhattan, 2+ hours to Wichita.

It blows my mind how a kid on a top 5 team could transfer mid season when his team has a shot to win the national championship. You can always transfer after the season but if Duke was to win the championship, how could you not regret transferring 20 years from now.

He wants to play. By transferring now, he can become eligible to play during the 2nd semester of next year .... I think. That's all the conference games which are the important ones anyway.

I recently heard the wife of the president of KSU wants to change EMAW because it's too gender specific. I think she wants to either take it out of the university dialect (or whatever you call it) or change it to EPAW (Every Person A Wildcat).
