I think he’s played too many games. Can’t remember exactly what the rule is but think he is over the limit. Regardless, I can’t imagine he would be back.

You are correct. Injured players cannot have participated in more than 30% of the scheduled games, nor in any contest after the midpoint of the season. Johnson is out on both counts.
