Of the 90 routines, only 6 were below a 9.7. This basically means that none had to be counted as one score on each apparatus is dropped. Usually a score below 9.5 means a fall off the bars or beams or a bad landing on the floor. We had 5 of those. Two by Wofford, one each by Nichols, Brown, Degovia.
We had 9 perfect 10's. Everyone who performed tied or exceeded their career high. The only exception was Lovan who only performed one time.
We have a sensational coach. Not only does she recruit well but her ladies grow in the program. Over the last 5 years only 4 performers failed to tie or exceed their previous career marks. One of those was Haley Scamen who went into her senior season with career highs of 10.0 on two of her three events.
We scored over 198.0 6 of the 15 meets. You have to average over 9.9 for 20 routines to do that.
