a few weeks ago I commented that I just didnt see the reason for all the hoopla over KState. They just weren't that impressive.

My how things have changed. They look SO much better now. I honestly thought our backcourt would destroy them and our frontcourt would hold serve. Instead they just wore us out at the arc and with their excellent rebounding and effort inside.

I will certainly take it back. They seem to have put it all together now.

They're playing much better than they were, but I still think their win in Norman was their best game yet. I'm not sure they weren't playing a little over their heads that day.

It's amazing that the attitude of one player (Marcus Foster) can make all the difference in the world for that team. For most of the non-conference portion, the guy was a headcase. He even got benched and went scoreless in several games. Now that he is "buying in" to what they want to do, they look like a different team.

100% agreed.

Foster is clearly KSU's best player. That team is so much better when he's on his game. I thought Weber was making a mistake by benching him, but he proved me wrong. He definitely got the kid's attention, which is why this not the same team as we saw in the early portion of the season.

Too bad the transformation started with Foster's win at the buzzer over OU!
