Shooting percentages

I've been impressed with the shooting percentages of some of the players so far. Kaylon leads the team with field goal percentage of 77%. She is followed close behind by ViVi at 75% then my girl, Whitney, (soon to be a starter) tied with Sharane at 67%. Treece is close at 64%. Overall, we have 11 players shooting 40% or better, 8 at 45% or better, and 7 at 50% or better.

From 3, my girl Whitney is kicking butt at 50%. Just another case for her to be a starter.

Yes, I know the competition has not been great but I've seen much worse shooting in the past against similar competition which tells me this group is making the most of those opportunities.

To be quite honest, to me it doesn't matter the competition, these kids are sharing the ball and looking for the best possible percentage shot available, instead of coming down and just jacking up three's. This is a very smart basketball team and a true team effort. I look for them to continue having good percentage outings. Now if we can improve that free throw shooting.
