She has yet to be what I saw as a freshman. Very recently, the smoothness of shot has begun to return. The height on the jumps isn't what it was at that time. It takes a while to overcome the anxiety of having that knee go out again, and I don't think she had gained her confidence until very recently.

Perhaps she's also coming out of the shell of not taking the shot. Sure has seemed like it since coming back.

I will be glad to happy having Maddie around as a role model and team Captain for the freshmen.
