Signing period starts tomorrow

I was thinking about next year when Tubbs said that. If this team is good this year, they might be crazy good next year. Especially if buddy returns. They will add four players.

Four players? My memory is awful. I can think of Akolda Manyang, Christian James, and Rashard Odomes. Who am I forgetting?

If you add in Dante Buford and TaShawn Thomas, we could have a lot of new faces.
 
Next year could be a really good season indeed. If nobody leaves early, we might only be losing Bennett, and gaining Thomas, Buford, Manyang, James, and Odomes.

Woodard/Walker
Cousins/Booker
Hield/Buford
Spangler/Lattin
Thomas/Manyang/McNeace

And Odomes and James would have to fit in there somewhere. Crazy deep. Gotta think LK expects somebody else to leave, but you never know.

Wow! On second thought, DOUBLE WOW!! That's more depth and talent than I can remember in years.

LK's biggest problem will be finding enough minutes to keep everyone happy. The competition for playing time in practice may be more intense than some of the games that team will play next season.
 
The whole roster construction process since May seems to be based on Thomas being eligible.

Makes me wonder if Thomas is going pro after this season no matter what. If Coach knows this, that may be why we are over signing.
 
Odomes has signed his. "This is a great feeling" and " my signing will make me work even harder" "thanks God"
 
Manyang signs at 10:30 along with teammate dime to Washington

I was counting Buford because he is virtually certain to be play for OU next season. As WT says it could be five guys if Thomas isn't eligible but I really hoping he is available this year.

I don't know the answer to this but is he an NBA player? There are lots of very good post players his size that never make it in the NBA. I hope he makes it to the NBA because I want people to realize their but I hope that doesn't happen until after he plays a season at OU

It doesn't have to be to the NBA. Isn't he going to graduate this year? Makes sense that he is going to be ready to start earning money.
 
I am very excited for the direction of this program. Now OU needs to win in March and even do a better job recruiting.
