People always say guard play is key in the tournament, but the big guys inside are having a good time this year. Wiggins did not have his way with Stanford, for example.

I have also seen some good guard play so far. Man I wished we had a guard like Kane from ISU

Wiggins, IMO, is overrated right now. The worst thing for him to do is go pro. He wasn't doing m,uch against us until we started letting him get in the lane. Big guys may be doing well but look at a team like UConn. They seem to always find the guards. Look at a team like KU. Inconsistency at PG kills them again.

KU didn't have the guard play to win in the tourney like they've had in the past. They couldn't stop Stanford a team with no true point from attacking the half court.

Chalmers was good and they won. Taylor was up and down but mostly up. Tharpe has pretty much been a disaster. They depend on a good guard for their success. Look for Self to be shopping this off season.

It would surely help our guards defend if we had a big who could guard the hoop......it seems like when guards get by our guards, they have a clear shot to go to the goal with little help from our bigs.:o

If Wiggins wants to maximize his value he needs to go pro this year, the longer he stays at KU the more his deficiencies are going to be highlighted imo.

Definitely overrated compared to what he was billed to be but the hype he received prior to coming to college was unfair and way too much.

Tharpe isn't very good. Woodard is better than him right now IMO. I think Capel recruited Tharpe to come to OU.

True. I don't think anyone - maybe except KU fans - believed the hype. He is talented but the NBA is full of guys with talent(as are the cutdowns). If he doesn't learn to hit a 15 footer he'll be exposed on that level too.

They shouldn't get by our guards.....Our Bigs have their man to cover as well and when they go in to help with the guards man, the ball is dumped off to one of the opposing Big Man and now everyone is mad at the Bigs. Everyone on defense does their jobs and these things doesn't happen.
