I love KU crying about cock walking and boorish behavior on the court.
I know some of you hate KU with a passion, but I don't think this is fair. I don't recall, at least in the last decade or more, KU players acting like that. They generally win with class about as much as you can, when you win as much as they have. There will always be a few fans, or whatever, that go too far, but I don't think I've ever gotten upset with a KU team for acting like that on the floor.
And what a loser Marcus Smart is becoming. You hear stories all the time about people getting sick, or developing a tumor, and their entire personality changes. That is what it almost seems like with Smart. Even when he should be keeping a low profile, he can't help but to make up a story like that? Geez dude.
They talk quite a bit of smack and do their fair share of chest thumping - especially at home.
They hate Smart over on KU boards right about now. Bawwwww so cute. Looking forward to them hating Spangler when we beat them for the Big 12 tourney later this month
I think there were 6 different threads about Smart after the game the other night. It's like every poster at Phog.net is Vinny.![]()
Phog.net has been obsessed with Smart since the backflip in Lawrence last year.
I really have no idea how you guys blew what should have been your dream season. Other than excessive losing, I mean
Shame on you for not beating KU in Lawrence again, or OU might still have a very slim shot at the Big 12 title
I take your meaning, but what about "shame on OU for not holding on to beat WVU in Morgantown and for a bad loss at home to TTU."
I assume you live in KC, and I know that can make you pretty jaded toward the Beakers, but let's be honest...they haven't had anyone come close to Smart's level of jackassery. Remember, it was probably Smart who started the bad blood with KU by showing them up in Lawrence (back flips) last year.
Why is a back flip that big of a deal?

Seriously? If you don't already understand the "big deal", I probably can't explain it very well. Put simply, players (and most fans) don't like to be "shown up" by visitors on their home court/field.
I'd guess you'll quibble with whether a back flip constitutes being "shown up." I'll just leave you with this---when was the last time you recall an NCAA men's player celebrating in a similar fashion? (Answer: rarely because most respect and follow this unwritten rule).

Probably 80% because the guy from OSU did it. Where is that one clown from - Ol' Miss? He's worse out there on the court than anyone but he seems to get a free pass.
