how do you not call that foul ? not sure if i've ever seen a more blatant push in the back on a rebound where someone had position...

Thought so as well. I'm proud of the team for the way they fought to close out the game.

We had 18 turnovers! That cannot happen on the road. For once we shot the ball pretty well but these guys don't take care of the ball.

Unfortunately, Arkansas is an average team at this point. They've lost to all the good teams that they've played thus far. This gives us a snapshot of where we are at as a team right now.

The kids just need to keep improving and please value the ball!

I think you can make the argument that we are as good, if not a little better than Arkansas at this point. My point was, judging from Arkansas' results, I think this indicates we are an average team right now. I expect us to improve as long as the effort remains constant and we can decrease turnovers/empty possessions.

The only thing this loss means is that OU probably needs to win out in our OOC games, to have a shot at Dancing. Not sure we'll do good enough in conference play to overcome losing three OOC games.

It depends on how respected the conference is this year. Right now the conference as a whole is way down. We only have 2 ranked teams at the moment, Baylor will probably make their way back in. Right now we have 0 quality non conference wins which will hurt us. I say, if we don't finish 4th or higher in the big 12...odds are were going to the NIT or worse.

Gotta give it up to that lineup there at the end for playing well. Problem is, OU won't be able to handle other teams like that inside, and that lineup has zero, I mean ZERO outside scoring presence besides Pledger. We saw how that worked last year. I agree, Hield's TOs are costly, but you have to think with experience he'll improve. I think Hornbeak just had a bad game. Last night just shows we are going to need them ALL.

It was an open shot but I don't think that is Osby's best play. Regardless, I don't get why Kruger didn't call timeout when Neal couldn't get the ball in bounds. OU had two timeouts. It is easy to second guess and I know Kruger knows a lot more about basketball than me but I think OU should have called timeout and drawn up a new inbounds play.

These close games are making us mentally tough. Yo could see that last night. We got down, made the run and took the lead. We are getting closer!
