Someone Has To Say It

I think they said that was a redshirt senior that sank those last two free throws.

The AAU team that Voepel and Jenkins wrote about are now gone.

Who is Fraza?

I thought one official made a couple of really bad calls that almost got Baylor the win. The foul on Slaughter on the scrum was a stupid call. I didn't see what Schimmel did to get her half of the double technical. Clearly, that was Sims in her face as she stepped in bounds, and Sims should have been proceeding down court, not standing in front of Schimmel.

I was at the game and you are just plain wrong about Sims getting in the girls face. Sims didn't say a word to her after she stole the ball and made the layup she just turned around to guard the out of bounds and Shimmel walked up in her face.

Since the title of the thread is "someone has to to say it"; I'll go ahead and say it: the "world's greatest coach" had the most dominate player in the history of the sport and yet only went to two final fours and only won one NC with her. Things that make you go "hmmmmm".

You could say the same about OU when they had the twins.

At one point they were shooting 75%. If you shoot that percent against anyone you'll win a bunch of games.

Well the twins weren't the most dominant player to come along and surely didn't have an effect named after them. And Sherri sure wasn't a rear end and a poor sport like Mulky. So no you really couldn't say the same thing.

Now, if you had been watching TV, you would have seen the replay.

Wrong. Simms got in her face.

I've seen the play several times and Sims was up on her and moving her mouth.

Sims had every right to be standing there guarding Schimmel. There is no difference between that and the face-guarding that Louisville was doing against Griner.

Sure she had every right to be there guarding Schimmel. But that's not what she was doing. She did not try to affect the throw-in. She was there talking smack.

I'm not sure why you compare that to the face-guarding. They had their arms up and their mouths shut (for the most part).

Courtney was not in Griner's league. Griner plays like an athletic 6-8 man.
