CParis - Turkey/Hatay
Looks like CP has not forgotten the Stanford Sweet 16 game of 2006. She and Newlin are still going at it.

Kay Kay signed with Athinaikos a team in Greece for 2016-2017. She is starting center. http://basketball.eurobasket.com/team/Greece/Athinaikos-AS-Vurona/10237?Women=1

Portia Durrett is playing for Telga (Sweden). http://basketball.eurobasket.com/player/Portia-Durrett/Sweden/Telge-Basket/247031?Women=1

I believe Aaryn played her first two years in Austria.
Portia was drafted in 2015 but do not believe it was a Swedish team, but not sure. Of course, this is Kay Kay's first year.

(Parent Voice) I would love to see these girls play somewhere other than Turkey!

I thought of that as well and in the next moment thought about how brilliant these young ladies are to be able to travel about the world and play/work at the game they love. It's a lesson we all can learn...follow your dreams, goals, passions without hesitation, fear or regrets (since they keep returning). Not only are they in Turkey! They have been in Israel, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, China... And many of them play in Eurocup and Euroleague that require that they travel all over the continent in addition to their leagues. Amazing!

There was an article in the USA Today last month about the WNBA players abroad and safety measures. I'm willing to believe they have the best of security measures in place. At the same time...I remember the Fort Lauderdale airport, the Miami club...right here in the USA.
