In conference he's averaging 11.8 points, 11.1 rebounds, shooting 58% from the field and 83% from the free throw line. If he develops some back to the basket moves and finishes with consistency, he'll be unstoppable.

He's the second coming of Eduardo Najera or Nick Collison.

Dude is automatic from the line in Conference play after shooting mid 50s in non conf... crazy how he keeps getting better and better (AND WE GOT HIM FOR 2 MORE YEARS !!).

Spangs is, without question, the best rebounder in the whole conference. He ought to average a double-double and may wind up with more rebounds per game than points.

Those type of guys are hard for the press to ignore. Now, if they do an ignorant thing like name Isaiah Austin on name-recognition... oy vey

His free throw shooting is one of the most amazing turnarounds I have ever seen during the course of the season. If the season ended today any voter with any credibility would have to place Spangler on the 1st team ballot.
