“I jumped on it wrong or something,” Spangler said. “I don't know what happened.”

If it helps to worry then I'm helping
The article says he is fine. He did in the first minute of the game and played 37 minutes.
His rebounding wasn't 'fine' yesterday. They were the hungrier team on the boards, especially on their offensive end
He had more rebounds than anyone in the game yesterday, on either team. And that was with a reinjured knee.
I can see we're in the part of the season -- happens virtually every year -- when some posters need someone to single out, someone to blame when we don't win every game (and preferably by 20 points). Ryan tends to be one of the players who gets blamed after a loss (or a close win), but I suspect that next season, it will be readily apparent just what he brought to the table and we will all -- including those who have pointed fingers at Ryan -- bemoan the loss of his toughness and, yes, rebounding.

Do you actually watch the game or check the stats before spouting off about Spangler?
He had another double-double in yesterday's game that included 10 rebounds (5 on the offensive boards). It may also interest you to know that he led both teams in rebounding. KSU's Johnson was the closest competitor with 8.
Ryan Spangler was one of the bright spots in the loss to K-State. The fact that he tweaked his knee early in the game and still played his heart out makes his double-double even more impressive. Pick on someone who deserves the criticism!
Well said. Plus, Spangler was the victim of one of the more egregious over-the-back no calls I've seen in a while. That "put back" on the missed free throw late in the game should not have counted, and Lon and his staff let the refs know about it.

I saw about 5 times that KSU got offensive rebounds against us that lead to about 10 points. Guess I don't actually watch these games man. You got me

Funny that you lay that entirely at Ryan's feet. KSU had three guys who grabbed a minimum of 7 boards; OU had one guy who grabbed more than 4, and he pulled down more rebounds than anyone else in the game. And yet, he's the guy you decided to go after.
Really battled tonight.
