Did anyone pay any attention to the end of the game? The TN players came over to the OU players, who were waving to the OU fans and ask them to come into the huddle and pray with them. The OU team went to the center circle with TN and all prayer together.

This team has so many reason to lay down but they have more class than any team I can remember and I have been around for a very long time. This team shows the class of the University, the coaching staff and most of all the class of the parents who instilled values into these young ladies.

Great job!:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap

Yes, I noticed that. I knew the Sooners were a class act. Now I know Tennessee is, too. I'll sure be rooting for them against Louisville. I might even learn to like orange; but that will be hard!

Contrast that with the Baylor coach and team. Class, integrity, honor, virtue, these are things worth teaching and passing on to every generation. Baylors coach is a total embarrassment and she has no class.

Can you believe that the Wicked Witch from Waco walked off the floor without shaking hands with the winning coach, her players followed her off the floor. That woman has no class at all!

Yes she did. If you look at when Sims was throwing her hissy on the floor and the players were gathering around her, you can see that green jacket walking the handshake line.

The team takes the personality of the coach, what a bunch of losers

I saw the two teams together in a huddle but didn't realize what had happened.

Have always admired the UT program, an embodiment of Pat. I'm glad to see the tradition of class continuing

A couple of their players also showed concern when Morgan went down. They were hovering around her with the OU players. That's how it looked on TV anyway.

Was there a foul called on the play when Mo got hurt? The Tennessee defender slipped to the floor, prone in front of Mo, Mo tripped over the body and slammed her face into another defender's knee - very hard. If a foul, who took the free throws for Mo? If not a foul, why not?

A foul was called on Simmons, but it was a common foul before one and one went into effect.

It was a class gesture. I think Tennessee has actually gotten a little less nasty edge to it than it had under Summit the last couple of years of her tenure.

Nice to see that display. I'll be pulling for Tennessee Tuesday night.

Wicked Witch from Waco

heh.

yes, she came over and asked her players to go do the postgame handshake/handslaps. She then bumped into the ESPN camera in a way that seemed that it might have been deliberate (like she didn't want the cameras focusing on her crying players).

Both L'ville and Baylor put on embarrassing performances, especially in the final minutes. Have any of Sherri's OU players ever gotten technicals? Don't recall any times.

Jo got T'd up about 4 games ago. Got called for her 5th foul late in the game and said something as she was walking to the bench to get the T. I think it was the ISU game in the Big 12 tourney.

I think Ashley Paris got one while fighting with a girl on the floor for a loose ball.

A gift from our new friends at Tennessee (via their scout forum):

Wrong. The player slipped and was losing her position of fouling Hook, so she dove in front of her to cut her down and keep her from going to the basket. As soon as the refs se that hook is hurt, a flagrant II should be called. If the allow this sort of play, the players will need pads and helmets to play. That is not what BB should be about.

I was too far away to see if the Tennessee player tripped Morgan on purpose. But I completely agree that the NCAA and the officials have let the physical play get completely out of hand. It's not the players fault and it's not the coaches fault. It's the NCAA and the officials. They are the only ones with the power to fix it.
