Stanford vs UCLA

I wonder if that will finally knock Stanford out of the top ten?

Stanford isn't in the top 10 now. The are 12 in one poll and 14 in the other.

They are #5 in the NCAA rpi.---or were.

Stanford got a little lucky in the conference schedule. They don't have to visit the state of Washington. The teams they only play once are #3 UCLA and Washington (tied for third), and #7 USC and Washington State (tied). They get the bottom three of the conference twice.

But, it looks like ASU is by far the team to beat, with Oregon State second.

Pains me to say this, but oklahoma state should be ranked.

Big 12 getting little respect when it comes to the polls, and it is hard to argue. OSU likely does not get ranked this year unless a lot of teams in the bottom 5 of the Top 25 lose. OSU has a tough 2nd half of the conference with all the top teams on the road, and WVU at home.

They can beat anyone and lose to anyone. Not sure if the recent surge in offense is going to stick, or if they will regress and rely solely on defense like they did against Baylor.

That holds true for every team in the Big XII. There are no dominant teams in this conference when it comes to playing on the road. I have no reason to believe my Sooners won't beat UT when we get them in Norman. And I won't be surprised if we get a split with BU as well.

At the same time, I am apprehensive about WV this Wednesday in Norman. They dominated TCU in Ft Worth last weekend, and both us and Texas had to play very well at the end to beat them there.

Hopefully the girls will be prepared and will play well.

I agree, Sweetest. West Virginia will be tough, even at LNC.

I had to see WV first hand and they are just tough. Athleticism might be a factor in Wednesday's game. This team plays very hard and takes no plays off. OU needs this win at home.
