You are either trolls or losers. The constant criticism does not reflect as poorly on Capel or OU basketball as it does you. You won't hear a successful person pointing out and repeating negative views day after day. Losers do that. It is a reflection on you. You do not expect to win in life.

Everybody knew this year was a total rebuild because we had 4 McDonalds AAs who are gone. 1 who underperformed a bit and 2 who were disasters. Capel is a winner. Always has been always will be and he is already well on the way to fixing that specific problem.

Obviously, I agree with you. Those type of people are just sad, and a drag to the rest of the people who go to the games and support OUr university...which judging by the few that were there with me tonight, is not many. But I'm understand why. This time 2 years ago when Capel had up 10-0, the stands were full. Thats just how it works.

My best advice is to use the ignore feature. It has helped me to be able to stand this board lately. I didn't have to read some of the threads from the people that you called out for being pathetic losers, and it was nice.

Hopefully during the next 6 games, some of those that only come out to post multiple threads after losses will be a little quieter.
 
I love the "you're either with us or against us" theme on this board. What's funny is that I can understand some of the sunshine pumpers' points, but I guess we are either communists or capitalists on this board. Unfortunate.

I guess you could call me a sunshine guy and I understand the frustration and some of the negativity b/c its warranted. However, I think we are all here for the good of OU or we wouldnt even have a dog in the fight. I just think the "pumpers" are tired of any positive thread being taken over and made to be negative. just my $.02

Agreed. Wish Ahmed wouldn't have cam back, not because I don't like the guy, but we REALLY need a PG going forward, that was an open schollie. With Osby Goff, Fitz, Thompson, we have enough posts.
 
What I've learned the last couple of days on this board: if you feel that Capel's current level of performance is unacceptable and voice that opinion then you are nothing more than a trollish, front-running frat boy loser that lives off of mommy and daddy's money and has no prospects for success in life.

I said it the other day. When you lose 04 who is probably more dedicated basketball fan than all of us. It's not about being a negative nancy. He's far from that. And he's still a dedicated Sooner basketball fan. All he really was against is the way the program is going with Capel. When you lose a fan like that as a coach there's not much going up right now. You can disregard people like me or others as too negative or Kelvin homers or whatever. But this isn't about being negative fans. There's not much to like about the direction that the basketball program is going right now.

And some of the comparisons that one poster made of Capel to Coach K is ridiculous.
 
Capel is a successful person for a reason.

To the trolls/complainers who are gone/backpedaling ... memorize my original post.

It is gold to live by.
