I have been away a long time from this board because watching this team in the last couple of years just is not worth getting upset about. I started this year because, I do see talent, I do see a lot of upside. Even though we got blown out last night it was almost like watching HS kids getting used to the pace of real college ball and on top of that a good college team.
It will be a long time before we see another Blake at this school. He gave a something we had been looking for, excitement and reason to watch. Fans at OU want winners and we have not seen that lately. Coach Capel believed that getting the top players like they do at the Dukes would make us a top 5 program but, when you take chances things can go very wrong.
Coach LK is bringing a difference approach that we haven't seen before, work with what you where given and build a strong program over the long haul. It is going to be rough but, LK is doing it the way OU needs it to be. We are going to see gradually built and the players we are going to get at first will be role players until the foundation is formed. So, to all watching this, it is happening as we speak and LK knows what he is doing and we will have to deal with these games until he gets the program steady...
