Texas should be pretty good next year

From what I've read Texas has an outstanding class coming in. I really like what OU has coming in as well. You take Pierre- Louis, Williams, Penzo, Ortiz, toss in Little, I know Peyton is a transfer, but she's new to us and I think OU is bringing in some very good talent. We've only seen a handful of games from Maddie as a freshman, there's no telling what she can do. Texas and OU both should be on a huge upswing. It will be very interesting to see how things turn out on the court for both teams.

I think you have listed 4 who could be starters this fall... Ortiz, Maddie, Peyton, and Pierre-Louis. It should be fun to see how the new group develops.

I give he one more year. Supposedly she has had a very strong recruiting class every year since she has been there. I don't see that much improvement in the team.

I agree Norm. Definitely think Texas is going to be a top team the next few years. They have really played well this season and have really been "in" every game that they played (Even Tennessee and Stanford).

Nneka Enemkpali is one of my favorite players to watch in women's college basketball. If she becomes a little bit more consistent offensively and continues to stay out of foul trouble she is going to be a dominant force next season. She has the athletic ability of players like the Ogwumike sisters. Anyone who wouldn't want a player like her on their team is pretty clueless.

Jones- the slowest player in the Big 12 who scored 9 points and grabbed 6 boards in 10 minutes of play last night.

She seemed to move pretty well against us. She was almost a part of the play that could have beat us. If they are smart and get her ass in shape she will be a nice player.

Jones is an enigma alright. No one can move her off the block, and no one will be stripping her of the ball ... just like CP3. CP3 still had an amazing career despite her weight issues, but Jones is not 6'4". But both players could/can have much improved themselves had they been able to control their weight.

Aston has long been considered the best recruiter in the Big XII, both serving as an excellent assistant/recruiter to both Conradt and Mulkey. She also had an excellent resume heading up stints at Charlotte and UNT. Expect UT to have very successful recruiting classes for many years to come.
