I'm watching. How cool is getting to play a game in Shanghai? The first regular season NCAA or NBA basketball game in China. What an experience for a college kid! I'm sure they got to take some tours. One of my bucket list items is to get to see the "Great Wall".

Bill Walton ought to get a job promoting Alibaba and China...... I liked the stat that they open a new skyscraper every 5 days in China, and now have the world's 2nd tallest building at 128 stories. The guy has done his homework researching China factoids. I know it's not basketball, but look at this picture of the Shanghai skyline. Shanghai

By the way, I think Texas may come back and win this game.

The game turned into a free throw contest. Washington has 1 player fouled out and 3 more in their current lineup with 4 fouls and there is almost 5 minutes to play. Almost 80 free throws shot with that much time left. Awful!

I think it will take Texas awhile to adjust to what Smart wants to do.

Yep....he doesn't have the players currently that would fit well into his system that have made his past teams successful. Texas is still a team of players that is primarily built for the half-court. They simply don't have the individual, one-on-one defensive-types that you would normally see in the "havoc" defense. Texas still has a skilled big man or two, but again, the big men they have don't fit the "havoc", run-the-court mold. It will be interesting to see if Smart can "hybridize" his system to be more inclusive of what he has to work with this year. I think they can still be dangerous, but just don't see them finishing any higher than 5th in the conference.
