The biggest cheaters in college basketball

Shocker! Calipari and Drew lead the pack.

Glad to see Calhoun in there. His buddy from Villanova needs to be there too.

Where's self. Those beaks are biggest cheaters.

anonymous polls = cowardly. Salacious journalism. I say bring the proof. I say the same thing on Calipari or any coach. NCAA camped out in Waco for 3 years and interviewed over 30 recruits and their families that Baylor was recruiting. Hard to imagine all those recruits would cover for Drew- especially the ones that used up their eligibility and went to rival schools. The NCAA didn't want to be viewed as wasting their time so after reviewing 900,000 calls, they found 1200 that weren't logged properly and put Baylor on probation before the unlimited texting rules went into effect.

That's what I don't understand. Kansas is clearly at the top of this list. Unless 100 dollar handshakes at Moon Bar after snorting a line is legal now.

Self's recruiting pre-Selby and post-Selby are two different things. I don't think anyone could objectively look at the players he signed in the 2004-2010 classes, then look at 2011-2013, and conclude that he's doing the same things now as he was then.

Perhaps not coincidentally, there were questions about Selby's eligibility and an FBI probe into their athletic department around that time.

Yea the slush fund has definitely been dried up, but there are still boosters who are willing to use their own dimes, pun intended.

Surprised Calhoun isn't higher. His conference coaching "compadres" hate his guts for all the alleged "bending of rules".

I guess that haven't won enough for people to say anything yet, but I have heard from multiple sources that the little guy North of OKC is working some 'magic'.

Well I hope he works some magic with an inside guy. I like 2's and 3's but would love to see some 4's and 5's.

Like Karron Johnson, but without the crazy.

It's a good thing OU didn't hire Terry Evans, then.

So the FBI probed...what did they find?

They found a coach who in one year went from signing the top recruit in the country to scrounging for academic risks other schools shied away from and some guy named Merv.

And having even less success than Drew at Baylor :ez-laugh:

No doubt.

If Travis Ford is cheating, then he clearly sucks at cheating.

If a scandal involving hundreds of thousands of dollars, athletic department employees, a couple AAU power brokers (with ties to several players who attended kansas) and a former kansas player (and parent of a current player) is nothing, then yes.
