and during the A&M CC game = much improved. You can tell the guys are really working at it.

Just got to keep improving. This team has a chance to be a really good defensive team.

Agreed. We turn the ball over at our normal rate, and this game is 90 - 60 or worse, all while shooting terribly from outside.

The 3 pt shooting was atrocious, everyone can agree on that, but overall OU shot 49%, which is very good away from home. And we have a large enough sample, I think, to know that it won't be that way most of the time. This is the best 3 pt shooting team OU's had in quite awhile. Every team's going to have a bad outside shooting game. Most of the time those games will end in a loss. OU won by 15...

You have to be happy with a double digit win when you go 1 for 12 from behind the arc.

I think our defense has really improved the last two games. We really cover fore each other well. Even the new players.

Kruger is a good teacher. We are probably beginning to see the type of team we will have as long as Kruger is at OU.

I agree. It's an aggressive defense that helps their fast paced offense. I would think after a couple of winning seasons, recruits would be standing in line to play at OU. It's the type of game kids want to play, plus they know Kruger and his staff know how to coach them up.

I'm a long time believer in the principle that winning starts with defense. Kruger's approach demonstrates this.

I think Kruger will attract players who like to play up tempo and are willing to work hard enough to play good defense. And maybe not looking for more than the basic scholarship.

May not attract many of the 5* blue chippers but there are plenty of good players out there who will like his style.

I mentioned in the game thread that I thought this was the best defensive game that we had played all year. For 40 minutes, we were constantly disruptive to the point where....I didn't think GM belonged on the same floor with us. Maybe GM isn't all that good, but you could tell we turned it up a notch. Also, we were ice cold from outside and still won comfortably. With the way our defense was playing, I never felt threatened or anxious yesterday.
