There Is A Time for Coaches to Get A T

That's for sure! Especially after a very obvious foul by one of your players.

Yep. It pains me to say this, but I actually like this Texas WBB team. I was rooting for them for sure (though it's a pretty easy decision against Baylor)

I have always liked the Texas coach, she was on Baylor's staff after Jody Conradt retired for a couple of years. Pretty sure if you weren't a Baylor fan, you were rooting for Texas. I like their team, they have some great players that are very young. I think they will really miss Adkins and McCarty though. They have a top 5 class coming in next season.

I think the tide will turn......maybe. Kind of know how all those teams in the Big East felt until Connecticut left the Big East.:facepalm

Losing Adkins and McCarty, the heart of their team, is huge. Collier will give them a solid post. Holmes may be back to her form. Higgs has grown up. But, they will miss the versatility of Adkins and the leadership of McCarty. I never thought she would be a star when I saw her as a freshman. She became sensational. Someone else was POY?

Oh, Syb, you know full well that K Brown was POY and deservedly so.
Brooke was a marvelous player--a motor that never stopped, smooth off the dribble and a consistent 3 ball (except for last night) She was clearly the general on the court for the Horns.
But Brown was literally unstoppable all year long, with no team able to cut her off from the basket. On a depleted BU team, I think Kalani outshone McCarty, IMHO.

I'm impressed that Aston took the blame for the T and the loss of momentum and game.

Brown was good. I could see them as co-POYs. I don't know that Texas could be higher than #4 without McCarty.
