Thomas not Practicing?

At practice and Thomas has yet to make an appearance. Anyone know where he might be? Was he practicing earlier in the week?

He'd be allowed to practice even if his waiver was denied, I would think. Spangler certainly did during his year off after transferring (as have many other transfers).

We were told he was in a meeting. They didn't say what the meeting was for. Coach Kruger left practice early and had a nicer set of clothes he appeared to be changing in to. Maybe he was joining the meeting?

He's still posting positive stuff about the team on twitter so he's still involved. His latest post a few hours ago said he was being "tested". I assume he meant by having to wait on a decision.

Hopefully, the meeting had to do with his waiver request.

It sounds like the NCAA has kept requesting additional information, and OU has kept giving it to them (but usually with a few days turnaround). Allegedly Houston has not supported his plea for immediate eligibility. This isn't required in order to get the waiver, but it would have helped a lot. Basically, it just makes it more difficult.
