I like CJ also. He's not a great player, but he plays with some consistency and IQ.

You gotta stop agreeing with me, booger. You're killing my reputation.
:ez-laugh:

I'm still laughing at Bruin's response. I just wish I were that funny. :ez-laugh:

Scrybe -- I bet you and I agree on a lot of things. As it is right now we have 1 major disagreement...

What's that? Surely you don't prefer Sherri with the flowing mane she wore last year?

I'm getting a little bit tired of threads started with the sole purpose of ripping one of our players, no matter who it is. If it continues in this thread, it will be locked.

:clap

Just hope you don't mind me ripping on Big Old Booger.:ez-laugh:

I appreciate the witty post above, but it's not like Nick hasn't had a good game or two. The problem is, they came early in the season (but he got major praise here after those games).

Against Coppin State, he had 8 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds, and he had 12 rebounds and 7 assists against North Carolina Central. He even had 6 rebounds against Kentucky.

I'm not arguing the fact that he's been dismal since early in the season, but he showed a little promise early (against admittedly weak competition).

I like CJ, but he's not always playing with a high IQ. Twice this year he has saved a ball going out of bounds and thrown it under our goal.

I like the hustle, but just chunk the ball to mid-court. Opposing teams have scored both times off of it. Once, he did it in the last seconds of the first half, giving them an easy bucket before walking up the tunnel.

It's a small complaint, but something that should never have happened, especially not twice.

Edit: I didn't read the second page, so this seems a bit out of nowhere. Just balancing out some CJ love. I am, however, rooting for increasing his playing time off of the bench.
