An interesting thing I have noticed from the UBC game and the stats from the Tulsa scrimmage is the contrast of the two frosh posts. It seems like Tiny has a much larger skill set than Fitz, but perhaps Fitz is better at the things Capel is wanting from the posts this year. is Tiny going to have underwhelming numbers because we don't utilize his versatility? Are we going to run specific plays for him to step out? Do we have so many shooters on the perimeter that we can't afford to have a big guy step out? Food for thought.

In every interview I've heard with Tiny, he's emphasized crashing the boards and playing D. I think Capel knows that Tiny has to be our low post presence this year, and developing those low post fundamentals is absolutely key to the team's success. As the year progresses (assuming Tiny starts to thrive down low), I think we'll start featuring all aspects of his wide skill set more often.

Right now we lose more than we gain with Tiny outside of the paint.
