Despite the poor choices he's made, I can't help but feel badly for TMG. This kid has all the potential in the world, could have been an All-Conference (possibly All-American) performer at OU. But he's obviously sorely lacking in maturity and he's thrown it all away for what amounts to a pipe dream.
I'm hoping with some serious soul searching and good advice from someone with Tommy's interests at heart, the kid will recover from this and at some point in the next few years start making a living playing basketball. I'm afraid basketball is the only skill this young man possesses.
