Is Fears not being listed an indictment on his expectations or the teams?

Or is he not among the best 66 new players?

Probably a bit of all 3. His skills may be limited by those around him, and the team not having much hype limits his exposure.

Plus, didn't he reclassify? If so, maybe they think the maturity gap may be had to overcome, at first.

He's young AF. I think it's more due to them lumping transfers and freshman together. I mean, there's only like 20 freshmen listed on that list...that wouldn't even include all of the McDonald's AA's from this past season. Fears is a top 40-50 type of recruit. Doesn't mean he won't be impactful or isn't very good, although since he should be a senior in HS...I would think you gonna see him go through a transition period. I'd be very surprised if he balls out from the get go.
