Trae Young offered

I doubt he goes to OU. OU staff does not like playing the recruiting game with Oklahoma kids.

Ku unc and many more to come...

Likely duke tomorrow!

Big fish in our pond, can we keep him in Norman??

What Oklahoma kids has this staff lost? And not ones that I had roots to the state, but kids that graduated from an Oklahoma high school.

I hope you are right!

When duke, Ku, or UK calls an Oklahoma kid...
It's hard to say no. Williams, kelena, but we got Blake I suppose.

Kelena didn't have an offer once we landed Bookout and Alexander.

As for the question above, I know they missed on Shake. I think they offered the big kid from Bixby (maybe) that is playing for OSU. They've recruited at least a handful of others that either went elsewhere or had their offers pulled. Always difficult to know the truth in those cases.

I'm not supporting either side of this argument, just trying to lay some facts out.

Not meaning any offense by this at all, but come on! Those schools have sellouts for basketball games in down years. They get sellouts for their midnight madness events. OU can't sellout games in 1 of their better years in a LONG time! If I were a kid even an Oklahoma kid, why would I want to go somewhere where even if I did well, only half of an arena will see it? That is an indictment on OU fans, not you, and definitely not the recruits.

Of course, Trae's dad, Rayford, was a really good player for Texas Tech. His biggest game came during his junior year when he led Tech with 41 points to an upset of 24th ranked Kansas back in 1999. He scored 32 points in less than 9 minutes to help dig Tech out of a 14 point hole. He was 18-18 from the free throw line setting a Tech single game record.

Looks like the apple didn't fall too far from the tree.

Not necessarily lost, but either pulled offers or went in other directions. Juwan Parker, Jake Hammonds come to mind. Shaquille Morris had a prep school then to OU offer, same with Dre Wright at Tulsa. Recently it has been the two kids from Mustang and Shake Milton. The staff was extremely frustrated with how long it took for Jordan Woodard to commit and had a sit down to clear the air on issues with the pseudo offer to Stevie Clark.

The Young camp loves the recruiting game. He plays for an out of state AAU team to highlight his scoring and increase offers. I wouldn't be surprised if they sign another guard if Trae takes to long.

MOKAN ELITE. Same team Shake played on... Duke and Kentucky are the only 2 that really haven't officially offered. Duke should come today.

OU pulled offers because they weren't progressing like they thought. Hammonds had some issues, kind of like the kid that committed and went to Nebraska.

Shaq never really had a chance to go to OU.

I hope Young doesn't want to leave Norman!
