She was a 5 star top 15 recruit in 2021 that went to Louisville. She would have 2 years of eligibility left.

Has to sit out the remainder of this year. Eligible to play next year

Normally everything regarding a players eligibility is based on the school year with a player having 5 years to play 4. But frequently players are given a 6th year to play 4 due to injury or extenuating circumstances. Although it happens only very rarely is that extended to a 7th season to play 4.

However, only recently a Oregon player was granted a 9th year to complete his career because he basically lost 4 years to injury. So I guess the only thing that is certain is never say never when it comes to college eligibility. There is always the exception.

Also we had Covid-19 which extended many players career by an extra 6th year to play which makes it even more confusing and difficult for the fan to follow.

She played 32 games as a freshman and 8 games this year. As I understand redshirt rules playing any games this year counts as her sophomore year. So unless there is a medical redshirt reason that I haven’t heard about she would have 2 years of eligibility left.
