Transfer Portal 2027

Well we had a top 10 portal class last year if that’s any indication. Even with decent talent we face a massive coaching deficit in every game we play.
Yea these threads always make me chuckle because under Moser, you can basically eliminate the top 10 spots of the league and just try to guess where in the bottom six we will end up.

That's what I was afraid of. I believe the head of the NCAA said so yesterday. GAWD he sucks.
Good Luck on the NCAA winning a law suit for eligibility after a formal signing is made. That would be voiding an existing contract.

So you're predicting a worse Wague? Oof
You could interpolate the jump from G-League to MBB is roughly a 13.43% jump in composite score based off of Bediako. (Again this is VERY generalized)

That would put him just above Wague, but barely.

There has to be a start point... What stops older guys from 10 years ago saying "I have one more year"

I will say, I was a little surprised when I saw his G League stats. I guess I had only seen a few posts about some of his big games (and some highlight reels) and hadn't actually found his full-season numbers. I know the OU staff has told people they expect him to be much better than any center we have had, but I think that seems like hyperbole based on his numbers. If he only averaged a few points and a few boards, I don't think we should just assume he will be a force in the SEC.

Gleague stats can be misleading as well. Avg 16 mins a game. Most are trying to get looks at their guys. Double his mins and stats trend upwards.

The courts.

That is the only way this changes, short of a CBA and/or legislative policies.

And don't think schools like BYU or anyone with military service will challenge age limits if the NCAA enacts age rules. If they do it with those exceptions, then others will challenge the fairness of certain groups getting waivers for age limits while others don't. And those challenges would most likely win, making the rule unenforceable.

Just as a frame of reference, using per36 and per40 numbers:

Edti: I had the incorrect eFG%, fixed.

These are much more promising and the big key for me is PF over the per36. Lower than Wague his senior season, that is the difference. If he can become a 8/6 or even a 10/8 guy, that is good for the 5 spot.

I thought Wague was a good player for us. If Gak can guard the pick and roll, we're in good shape.

Also, he's listed as a SF for the Go-Go. That's a solid sell....come to college and play Center. Lol!

and before anyone says anything....yes I know you can play interchangeable Forwards in stead of a true Center. He was just marketed as a Center commit for us.

I don't know anything about the team or who he may have been competing with for minutes, but his per 36 minute stats are pretty solid. Hopefully that is more of the Gak we get, I don't see why it wouldn't be. He only started 2 games and averaged almost 17 min per.
