Mingo is a top 25 portal player. We should feel fortunate to get him…if we do.

He was the best or second best player on a team that went 3-17 in the Big 10.

He shot 24% from three. He's not a great defender (Evan Miya rates him very close to Pack).

I just don't like him and Brown together. Guard shooting is VERY important in the college game. I don't think those two shoot it well enough as a starting tandem.

For the record, I think Burton has a similar problem, but I think Burton is a little better than Mingo.

What about the guard from Butler that is from Texas that is transferring? Bizjack. I like him better than Mingo. Terrible defender but he's a bigger guard that can score it. PoMo seems to want combo-guard types. I'd prefer we go find a bigger, true shooting guard type if Brown is the PG.

He was a true freshman, who averaged nearly 14 ppg. Outside of Fears last year, when’s the last time we had a true freshman produce like that. I believe he’s a better shooter than his %’s show this year. Time will tell though. Former top 30 recruit…I’ll take him.

We don't typically have to ask freshman to take on that load.

Go read the description of his game coming out of HS. He is not a good shooter.
