Transfer Portal 2027

While I absolutely love a good mystery, if anyone knows who the center prospect is that is silently committed, go ahead and feel free to dm me. Curiosity is getting to me.

Have we heard anything on Dayton or Derrion regarding whether they are staying? Asking for a friend. And aside from whether he is coming back, how is it that Kirill only got one year of eligibility instead of 4 years? Just curious

It's possible he decided he didn't want to return and wanted to go back to playing in Russia.

I hate to pile on, but not being linked to any top talent is also a frustration ...
Not to brag but I saw our name on a few "Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, Kansas, UCLA, Louisville, Arizona, Indiana, Michigan State, Ohio State, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Michigan, Illinois, Villanova, Notre Dame, Purdue, Maryland, Marquette, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Temple, Oklahoma State" lists from a few random no name X posts, so yeah... I think we got this down.

I believe tomorrow is the last day anybody can enter the Portal. As such, official announcement or not, I think it's pretty safe to assume Reid and Forsythe will be returning.

Kirill only had one year of eligibility when he arrived. He played professional ball in Russia. OU knew that coming in. The irony is that he didn't arrive until December so he only stayed at OU for a semester.

And we should also know potentially if our silent commit center enters the portal? Unless if he is an international guy.

Could also be why commit 2 hasn’t been announced or why it has seemed extremely quiet of late. May not want to rock the boat. Let tomorrow pass, and then add from there. Just a thought.

Dub, was Cincy our main competition for Riley? On Riley, there seems to be a split on how good a get he would be. I watched him a couple times this year, and that is a small sample size, but I thought he was really good. I hope we get him. Looks like he would be a good complement to Brown at guard. Not the shooter Pack was, but he is a bigger and a better defender. Didn't think I would like pack when he signed, as he was really short, couldn't defend and had been injured. But, I loved the kid and thought he was a real baller. Hard to imagine it translating to the NBA but he was a really good college guard.

All indications have been between us and Cincy.. they've been confident, our side has been quiet, we'll see..

that is what the NCAA gave Kirill when he was made eligible .. back in dec some at OU thought he had a good case to appeal and get a second year .. but i think that ship (at OU any way ) has sailed.

Was Cincy in on him before us? If we were chasing Mingo, maybe we weren't aggressive with Riley initially?

Be interesting. He's a West Coast kid, I believe, so neither OU nor Cincy are close to "home". Big 12 and SEC are both good conferences. Would he be the best guard for Cincy? At OU he's probably playing second fiddle to Brown, though there is room for both obviously.

Not yet. Reid and Dayton

I’d say safe but signed contract isn’t there yet to my knowledge
