Transfer Portal 2027

this is where OU just doesn't get it .. they needed to make a bigger offer then Cincinnati ..

maybe OU will find some one that good .. but i doubt it ..
They needed to make the offer not be NIL but rev share is how it was explained to me because that's the main difference between the OU offer vs Cincinnati offer.

I have no doubt there is another player just as good in the portal. I am not very confident OU will find them though.

That’s where you want to be if you only have a few players on the roster. But to be fair, Lucas is a longtime coach so Porter just needs more time to figure out this whole process.

Offer Terri Miller the bag! Him and Rooths together would be nice. Rogers off the bench, play legit big boy minutes this year and i think do well. I think Rogers could easily be a 10ppg & 8 Reb guy his Soph season if he plays 25+ mins.

Pay the Tulsa guard for god's sake. If Cincy offered $2 mill, throw in another $300k who cares at this point. That guy will get fans more excited than most players left in the portal.

I like our 4 guys coming back, really do. I like the two we have signed. We need two more good ones though.

we will see you .....are more optimistic then I am ..
Absolutely. I’ve already penciled in Rueben Chinyelu after Todd Golden takes the Warriors job tomorrow and their roster becomes available.

Speaking of… Micah Handlogten. I know he’s waiting on a waiver but it’s been very quiet there. Not sure he’ll get one, just remember him entering.

Terri Miller has eligibility left?

What is the difference? Even if revenue sharing it’s a set amount and not like a percentage.

It’s all estimates for 2027 season if I am understanding. May be good but not based on prior years. We could estimate Roger’s to have great numbers next year, prior season may not show it.

If that 5 year rule goes into effect we’re going to have another portal season. Malique Ewin just entered.
I noticed that. Melvin Council did the same. What’s the odds of these guys getting another year? Would Pack or Jones have this option potentially? Probably not Pack…since he’s almost 30.

Parents preferred the money directly coming from the school and not a
Guess I am not understanding then. Revenue sharing set up from fed government was to be run by the collective and not paid by university as that could cause university to loose tax free status. Was that not the rule? Maybe I was looking at a potential lawsuit that said that.

You would have CUT longar longar after his freshman year too. Not all dudes are ready 1st year. Its just asinine on its face to write off dudes that quickly
He’s just not the type of big to be successful in the SEC. He’s not athletic or quick enough. We all know the Blueprint. He’s not it.

Dumb. Money is money, and there is more available from outside of OU’s revenue sharing.

I might understand if this was some long-term deal, but he only has one year of eligibility.
