To me, a volume shooter is somebody that gets their counting stats due to volume. Meaning, low shooting percentages.
That isn't the case with Riley. He shoots it well from 3. He shoots it well from the FT line. His FG percentage isn't great, but it's certainly not bad.
Yeah I’m not sure what that guy is talking about. Pack was 5’10”. Riley is listed as 6’3” (maybe he’s 6’2…still bigger than pack.
And I wouldn’t call Riley a volume shooter at all. For comparison…Pack attempted 275 3’s this year, making 45% of those. Riley attempted 72 3’s this year, making 39%. Pack MADE 50 more 3’s than Riley ATTEMPTED! That’s a crazy stat. Pack is a VOLUME shooter, Riley is not. Riley is more of a slasher and likes to drive it to the whole…which I like. He also makes a high % of his FT’s (87%). Riley shot 233 FT’s this year, while Pack shot 63 FT’s at 86%.
